The Brasil Santos grows in volcanic soil at an altitude of 800 to 1300 meters. These relatively low altitudes are perfect for growing smooth Arabica coffee because the bean doesn’t grow too dense: the softer structure results in a smoother flavor.
The cherries containing the beans are picked and sundried on raised beds. As the cherry dries, all of its flavor transfers into the coffee bean that’s hidden inside. This organic way of drying is what gives Santos its signature fruity flavor.
Afterward, the beans are medium-roasted, which results in an all-around smooth drinking experience. Our beans have history and are sourced from the oldest coffee producing region in Brazil: Minas Gerais.
