Our Yellow Bourbon grows in wide-open fields in the heartland of Brazil. They’re medium-sized beans that enjoy year-round sun at an average altitude of 878 meters.
The aroma’s that make Yellow Bourbon famous, specifically the citric note, develop as the beans dry in a pulp made from the cherries. The added step of pulp drying is classic Santa Catarina, the farm where the beans are grown.
Using state of the art scientific methods, Santa Catarina keeps the flavor high and its ecological footprint low. Earning the farm a spot in the Rainforest Alliance, a UTZ certificate, and Volcafé Way seals.
